Ha Manh Luu

Biography

Ha Manh Luu was a PhD candidate in the BIGR group of the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the EMC and worked on CT guided liver RFA. He succesfully defended his thesis titled Image Analysis for Guidance in Minimally Invasive Liver Interventions in 2017. After his PhD, he moved to Vietnam and continued working on developing medical image procecessing and AI applied on liver cancer interventions such as radio/microwave frequency application and selective internal radiation therapy. Since 2023, he has moved to Weill Cornell Medicine, and has been working for the MRI Research Institute of the Department of Radiology as a research associate.
